Cruise Miami 2009

The Haven Gateway in partnership with Harwich International Port and other key partners will again be attending Cruise Miami, the largest annual Cruise shipping trade show. For the first time they will have their own dedicated exhibition stand to promote Harwich and the Haven Gateway as a Cruise Destination in its own right. The show takes place in March 2009. Other partners contributing to the exhibition include Tastes of Anglia and Adnams brewery who will be providing a taste of the area and UKTI who will be representing businesses from East Anglia.

Harwich and the Haven Gateway previously had a presence at the show as part of the Cruise Britain stand.

At the exhibition, new Haven Gateway excursions for 2009 will be launched, including 'Tastes of East Anglia' which will include tastings and visits to some of the famous food and drink locations in the area. There will also be the opportunity to taste different local products, including Adnams Carbon Neutral East Green beer and Aspall Cider at special events organised during the exhibition.

Harwich International Port is the third busiest cruise port in the UK with 53 turnaround calls and 7 transit calls in 2008.
